DANA M. NOLAN, OD
Doctor of Optometry
Dr. Dana M. Nolan is a family optometrist who provides exceptional eye care for patients of all ages. A Jacksonville native, Dana received her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Art from the University of South Florida, and her Doctorate in Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She then returned home to practice optometry in 1998. Dr. Nolan opened Vue Optical in Historic Avondale in October 2008. Dr. Nolan created an intentionally intimate and specialized practice, to provide individualized quality care. Her concierge-like approach allows the time it takes to answer all questions, educate patients, and provide quality personalized solutions. She is known for her compassion and attentiveness to patients, which helps to set her apart from others. Vue is warm, welcoming, and authentic - just like she is!
AMANDA REMSEN, ABOC/NCLEC
Certified Optician
Born and bred in Jacksonville, Amanda holds a Certification in Opticianry and is equal part Ray of Sunshine and Optical Ray. In short, she’s the most charming and creative scientist you’ll ever meet as she uses intellect and instinct to discover what, exactly, will look best on that face of yours – or of someone you love. Finding ‘the perfect fit’ for her customers makes Amanda exceedingly happy. And she’s done just that since 2009. It’s Amanda to thank for our beautifully curated frame selection. Her in-depth knowledge of our products will leave you confident in her opinion and advice.

Dr. Nolan and her team provide an excellent customer experience. They are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. And the facilities are always clean and tidy, with a large variety of frames available for purchase. I was thrilled to have found Vue Optical and always look forward to seeing everyone at my net appointment.
Dr. Nolan is fabulous, and the technical equipment used to ensure eye health and an accurate prescription is astounding.
The office staff is so kind and caring. I love how I am always in and out so fast without having to wait 30 minutes after arriving to been seen like other offices I have been to. I will continue my eye exams at Dr. Nolan’s office.
