Dry eye syndrome and meibomian gland dysfunction affect millions of Americans, and symptoms can range from occasional, mild irritation to debilitating and stubborn symptoms. Patients with dry eyes either do not produce quality tears, or they simply do not produce enough tears. Unfortunately, this can be progressive, chronic, and permanent. “Myopia management” is a series of treatments that eye doctors use to slow the progression of myopia or nearsightedness in children. Dr. Nolan currently offers several different customized and evidence-based treatment options to slow the progression of myopia for every child based on their unique needs. Myopia Management solutions include eye drops, specific contact lenses, and glasses, which can help slow down the rapid visual deterioration that can occur with myopia.

Dr. Nolan works with leading contact lens development teams and providers to help develop new products and innovations in the field. Thus, contact lens studies are conducted throughout the year using both current and prospective clients as subjects.
